Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is the primary airport serving New Orleans, situated only 11 miles from its downtown. Take a taxi, which costs a flat $36 — far less expensive than a rideshare. The taxi stand is to the left of the arrival exit doors.
